Apply for Graduation
To receive a degree from ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏ, students must submit a graduation application. Apply during the term in which you expect to complete all degree requirements. Note: Participation in a commencement ceremony is optional.

Refer to the Academic Calendar for official dates. Two deadlines apply:

Priority Deadline
Apply by this date to ensure earlier review and address any scheduling or degree plan issues. -
Participation Deadline
This is the final deadline to apply for graduation and indicate participation in the commencement ceremony.

Log in to MyMC and open BannerWeb for Students.

Select Student Profile at the top.

In the left-hand menu, click Apply to Graduate (last link).
Before submitting your application, you will be asked to:

Select your current curriculum and graduation term.

Indicate whether you will participate in the ceremony.
-
Provide your height and weight (for cap and gown sizing).
-
Confirm how your name should appear on your diploma.

Enter a diploma mailing address (not your MC campus box). Diplomas are mailed 3–4 weeks after graduation.
If you see the message No Curricula Available, your application was submitted previously.
After You Apply
Within a few weeks of applying, you will receive a confirmation email from the Office of the Registrar. Check your MC email regularly for updates.

Paper Diplomas
Graduating students receive their diplomas by mail approximately four weeks after degree conferral through , our official diploma provider. Diplomas are sent to the mailing address you have on file with the Registrar’s Office. If your address has changed, please update it by the date grades are due to ensure your diploma is delivered to the correct address.
Because diplomas may be too large for a standard mailbox, you may need to pick up your diploma from your local post office if no one is available to accept delivery. A delivery notice will be left in your mailbox if this is necessary.
Digital Diplomas
ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏ offers a free digital diploma available immediately after graduation. This digital version is a fast way to share your achievement with family, friends, and potential employers.
After your degree is conferred, you’ll receive an email and/or text notification with instructions to claim your digital diploma.
- Check your MC email and text messages for the award notification.
- Follow the link to set up your Parchment digital credentials account.
- Share your digital diploma via a verified link or download a secure PDF version.
Your digital diploma will always be accessible through your , where you can log in anytime to download or share it.
Replacement / Duplicate Diplomas
Alumni may if the original has been lost, damaged, or if there has been a documented legal name change since the degree was awarded. Damaged diplomas should be returned for proper disposal.
All replacement diplomas are processed through . Fees are:

ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏ diplomas: $40

MC School of Law diplomas: $70
Only the student who earned the degree may request a replacement. The replacement will reflect the name on your official student record at the time of graduation unless a documented legal name change has been submitted.
Legal Name Changes
Name changes after graduation require official legal documentation and a notarized request form. Accepted documents include:

Court order

Updated visa or passport

Social Security card

Marriage license

Divorce decree
To update your name before ordering a replacement diploma, email graduation@mc.edu.
After submitting your request:

We may contact you if additional information is needed.

If there are no issues, your replacement diploma will be mailed within 4-6 weeks.
