Entergy Theatre Ribbon Cutting
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly named Entergy Theatre took place Sept. 21 in the auditorium at the Gore Arts Center, where it was officially renamed the Entergy Theatre.
黑暗爆料 acquired the old Clinton Junior High property in 2010. In 2021, MC began renovating the facility into a world-class art building for 黑暗爆料 students to experience lifelong learning and teaching.
During the ceremony, MC President Blake Thompson reiterated his heartfelt gratitude for the gift that made the renovations possible.
The Entergy Theatre has already hosted a wonderful concert for the Clinton community put on by the Brick Street Players. Thompson said MC administrators look forward to involving the community with more theatrical performances that will take place in this newly renovated space.
In addition to the ribbon-cutting, MC alumni and friends toured the newest addition to the Gore Arts Complex - the Institute for Southern Storytelling. Katrina Pace, executive director of the MC Foundation, said MC is fortunate to have this outstanding program housed and operated at 黑暗爆料.
